Yesterday was the first day of ballet since summer camp. Everything’s different, new teacher, less people, higher level. We’re practicing less on technique and learning more difficult moves, which is exciting. I can’t think on a lot to say, as that was my first day.

I thought I would talk about my obsessions that I collected over the past few months. I was devastated when Kanani left ANTM2.0 (America’s next top model 2.0). My favorites are probably Renee, Marvin, and jiana.
Im also obsessed with all the abc family shows and breaking pointe on the CW.
I’m not sure which is better Nikon or Canon? Nikon d3200, canon 5D, Nikon d5200, or canon eos t3i rebel??
And I’m also debating between lenses. I still have a lot of research todo. Gah that was a long paragraph and I’m sorry I dragged you through my jumbled sentences.

Tomorrow Is recital rehearsal, but my ankle feels like there’s a knot in it. Today I used my ‘free medium beverage’ coupon and tried the butter pecan (at DD), its now my favorite along with Irish cream. Everyone has to download the app Songza it’s a playlist radio thing… But with no ads. Sometimes I meet people who say they don’t listen to music, it makes me cry inside to know not everybody loves music like me.

April 1st:

Tomorrow is my first day of dance since spring break (for dance it was only one week off).

I am very exited because on thursdays we practice our dance for our future performance. My third performance in this company.  And I am also very excited about the summer camp intensive with as well as the summer camp performance.  I deeply apologize for the lack of blog updates/entries.  My life has been hectic, and my computer has been extremely slow.  Im very sad that I must wait until June 11th to watch season 4 premiere of Pretty little liars!  Whose excited? I know I am, and I also know I will be devastated when it all ends 😦

Ballet Tights.

I just wanted to show you all the different kinds of ballet tights :

In my ballet class we wear the “Transition tights with a seam “.  Footed tights as well as Transition tights are mostly used for jazz and ballet (but can really be used for any type of dance). Footless and stirrup tights are more convenient for modern, jazz, and other types of dance.  Tights with seams only change the appearance.  Seams are simply the line going down the back of the tights leg.

Just a random thing i found online

I found these punk/runway, ballet shoes. i found these online, and thought you would like them :

You can make these at home too, all you need to do is buy a  stud  paper (so paper with studs glued on and you can peel them off and stick them on something else, kind of paper)

peel as many as you want off and glue them on to you’re Dance shoes and let dry for an hour or 40 minutes.  

Irish step dancing

Hey.

Apologize for taking such a long time to make another post, but here is a post to make up for it.

 

Some of my friends (2) take Irish step dancing classes, and I recently saw a  show of theirs at  the Bard college, and wanted to do a review on it.

 

It was very good ( obviously ), and I think my favorite part was the soldier parts with the hard shoe, it was really well done. Here is their Logo
